back to 12 reps 8/11/06

Some parts of North Texas had 106 and 107 yesterday! I don't know because of the temperature or just laziness of not teaching for three months, I feel quite tired and when I am not, I am afraid that I may if I try anything too hard. So I have been taking it easy saying the most important thing is to get to the gym and keep going. With this, I decided to go back to 12 reps routines. So far I am doing 2 sets. Yeah, really easy and lazy.

lazy days 8/9/06

Be it triple digit heat in Texas or driving 2600 miles in less than a month, I have had a series of lazy days. So far I think I have only been to Lifetime twice. And the first time was just to get into the steam bath, second time, I skipped ab work. I am afraid I am going to get too tired all over again. For the last three days, I have been working on reviewing web sites contract work and I really wanted to complete 20 hours before the semester gets too close. So I have skipped going to the gym and just making sure to walk the dog. Scary thing is that I don't exactly know my teaching schedule yet and I can't structure my schedule when to exercise. As of now, Tuesday and Thursday are late start and I don't know how I like it in terms of commuting and getting parking spot. It also means coming back late and maybe I will have to totally forget about visiting the gym and just keeping the walk with Pepper in the morning would be the goal. My heat rash is a lot better now, but I am not going outside. I am keeping myself inside here.

taking it easy 8/6/06

I have been back in Dallas for three days now and I finally made it to the gym. The heat is rough on me and I am still feeling quite tired. I noticed that I only have 400 miles to the oil change and I only did it on July 10! This means that I did three months worth driving in one! I did go to the gym, but all I did was laying around in the steam bath. I am just taking it easy working on my Bookmarks and contract work. I will plan on working out tomorrow. (yeah, right)
